Instead of making a sandwich out of those leftovers, make this Turkey Pizza instead! This recipe boasts a crispy crust, topped with a white pizza sauce, leftover turkey, and gooey mozzarella. A unique and delicious way to use up that Thanksgiving dinner. Here is how to make Turkey Pizza.

Turkey Pizza

Turkey Pizza might not sound like a very common dish, but it’s a delicious way to use up that leftover turkey. I get tired of making the same old dishes every year from the leftovers. I like to switch it up and try something new. There are some recipes that don’t turn out so great. However, then there are recipes that turn out to be a favorite for all of us. Those recipes continue to make an appearance through the years.

This pizza was my attempt at being different this year and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest. I love all the additions that can be added to it in order to customize it. Just like any pizza, the sky’s the limit.

Tips and Variations:

  • Storage – Store in the fridge, in a sealed container, for up to 4 days. I do not suggest freezing this pizza as I feel it doesn’t turn out the greatest after being frozen.
  • Reheating – Reheat using the microwave, oven, or even the air fryer.
  • Use other sauces – If you’re not a fan of the white sauce, feel free to use whatever style of pizza sauce you prefer. You can even make your own sauce.
  • Use other cheeses – Skip the mozzarella or add to it if desired. Some delicious ideas would be an Italian mix, colby, pepper jack, etc.
  • Make your own crust – You don’t have to stick with a store-bought crust. Go ahead and whip up your own to make it even better.
  • Make it buffalo style – Switch your sauce from alfredo to a mix of ranch dressing and buffalo sauce. This will make it a buffalo style turkey pizza!
  • Add toppings – You don’t have to stick with the basic pizza scheme I used. Feel free to add some parmesan cheese, jalapenos, bell peppers, olives, spinach, crushed red pepper, etc. Whatever your heart desires for your pizza tastes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Premade Pizza Crust
  • 1 ½ Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Cup Leftover Turkey, chopped
  • ¾ Cup White Pizza Sauce or Alfredo
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic, minced

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Roll out the prepared pizza crust and pour the sauce over the top and spread evenly.
  3. Cover the sauce with the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the turkey pieces over the top.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the butter and garlic. Place in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until the butter is fully melted.
  6. Brush the mixture along the crust edge that’s not covered with ingredients.
  7. Cook for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the crust is lightly golden brown. Serve and enjoy!

This pizza sounds so delicious. I dont eat meat and am allergic to dairy. I might just have to make this with vegan cheese and eat turkey for the holidays
