How to have the perfect Spring Break in Atlanta

Don’t come here we full. No, I’m kidding…honestly though I am not lol. If you are going to come here I want to make sure you stay safe and adhere to the unspoken rules. Also, I want to give you some of my favorite places to visit and when to visit them (definitely not on weekends) to have the most fun. Since I’m here in Atlanta we might make it a staycation to save some money so I want to give you a list of what we will be doing and how we will be spending Spring break. First though here are some tips on how to have the perfect Spring break in Atlanta.

How to have the perfect Spring Break in Atlanta

First, my biggest advice is to do things on a weekday. It’s less of a crowd and you will be able to enjoy the many attractions that we have around town. Traffic will not be as bad either so you will save a huge headache if you travel on the weekday.

Our first stop this Spring Break is to visit the World of Coke.

From March 14 through March 29, World of Coke is offering guests four general admission tickets for $50 total. That’s a savings of $22 for four adult tickets. Take advantage of this special offer for the whole squad, whether it’s spring break or just enjoying a fun weekend

Even if you miss the above offer you can still enjoy the sips and history of the World of Coke.

Our next stop is to go to Six Flags. We haven’t been there in forever so we can’t wait to see what new attractions they have over there. They have enhanced old attractions, added some new food spots, and a new mobile app feature that allows guests to add their Pass to their Google Pay Wallet or Apple Wallet, expediting the front gate experience and reducing wait time.

We will be stopping by the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see what Spring has to offer and of course, take all the pretty pictures. This place is a beauty and I truly enjoy the peace I get every time I go.

Here are some other things to do in Atlanta during Spring Break

  1. Candytopia (I’ve heard good things but haven’t been we might check it out)
  2. Atlanta Dogwood Festival (This takes place on the weekend but its worth it to check it out)
  3. iFly Skydiving – I went a few years ago and my kids had a blast. Expensive but better than actually skydiving for real for real lol
  4. Escape the Room – We did the apartment one and we did not escape it. Why…that dangone phone call we were supposed to make messed us up.
  5. Alpaca Treehouse – I’m adventurous but I don’t know about this one.

Along with visiting these few places the kids and I plan on

  • decorating the backyard better
  • Planting our first flowers
  • organizing the frigde and pantry
  • Watching old movies
  • Making new food dishes
  • taking birthday pics for my daughter at a garden here in Atlanta
  • and resting

Whatever your plans are make sure you are safe. Stay with a crowd, don’t leave anything in your cars of valuable, follow the rules for Covid (even if you don’t agree respect the establishments and their rules), and most of all have fun this Spring Break.
