Escape the room Atlanta + Wed Links

Happy Halloween

There is a movie coming out called Escape Room.

Well, I went to the one here in Atlanta. I thought today would be the perfect day to tell you all about our room experience. It was kind of like the movie without the scary music lol.

Escape the room Atlanta

So, first of all, it’s a hard place to find. It took me about 10 minutes to find the spot. It’s not out in the open. You have to go through some doors to get the actual spot for Escape the room.

It’s expensive….luckily I went with some folks where we had a discount but my gawd when they told me the price I immediately knew that I would not be paying for that on my own. I need a boo to take me and he will pay for it.

We choose the Apartment as the room that we would escape from. They said it’s the first one and it’s the easiest. They give you one hour to escape…..it took us 45 min to find the 2nd clue and you have to find 6 to escape. There were 3 adults, a teen, 2 preeteens and 2 little ones who were of no help to us. Now you can ask for clues but the clues weren’t easy. They also have someone watching you from another room….kind of scary huh. Also, there is a button you can press just in case you need to leave out of the room or you become claustrophobic. Or you are like me and need to escape because you have given up.

That shat was hard I won’t lie. The clues aren’t in your face and the thing you least expect will be a clue. Y’all I turned over a rug in the bathroom and saw a letter and didn’t realize it was a clue. We had to call a restaurant and hung up before someone answered…another clue. I will tell you that it’s great for team building and a lot of corporate people do it for fun. Have you been to the Escape the room? Would you ever go?

If you are going out tonight for Halloween make sure you be safe!

This is cute to make! We will be doing something similar tonight

I use my mason jars for other things like to drink but this is neat also

This is a great way to add some elegance to your Halloween decor

Eyeballs are a scary treat for your kids to make

Need some last minute Halloween costume ideas?

Folks love to DIY Halloween….don’t do it.

Make sure you don’t forget to take some awesome photos of your little one as they put on their costumes

Make sure you have your Elderberry on deck especially if it’s cold where you plan to trick or treat at

I need to do the Escape Room sometime. We have one nearby. I’m not sure if I could complete it or not. If my family did it, we’d probably all argue.

This looks great! I read about a friend visiting one a few weeks ago and it has peaked my interest. I think this would be something my older kids and I would love to do! Maybe as a whole family event!

I’ve done this twice and failed both times. I’m not good at puzzles at all. I agree it’s great for team building and that it’s very hard lol.

I’ve often wanted to do this, but didn’t know it was expensive. Maybe when my son gets older it would be more fun for us.

Arhhhhhh that movie looks scary – We did an escape Room as a family and LOVED it. Although the husbeast and the teen did have a few disagreements.

We are big fans of escape rooms but we are those people who prefer to be with just our own family! 🙂 We’ve had too many lazy bums.

We are HUGE Escape Room fans. We recently did one for Halloween where there was a LIVE zombie in the room with you. It was so freaky!

I hope you had a great Halloween. I’ve never tried the escape room before in my state. However, I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.

My best friend tried to get me to do one of these for my birthday. I declined because I would probably panic. But, I do feel ashamed that kids went and I wouldn’t.

Oooooo…I’ve been wanting to try this but haven’t gotten around to it. I love group games because they either bring out the best in people or the worst.LOL

LOL this sounds fun, but challenging! It sounds like The Escape Room, which is here in the DMV area. I did it with my co-workers, and it was fun! My team won. 🙂

I have never been to the Escape Room, but I do want to try it out. I do worry that that price is more than I am willing to pay. I need a sponsored trip. lol
