5 Hot little things about Callie’s Biscuit

Anything that comes to Atlanta that reminds me of my hometown makes me smile. Many of you know that I’m from Charleston and my favorite biscuits are here in Atlanta. They’ve been here a while but I finally got a chance to go down there and properly eat a biscuit in peace. I’ve been there before but with kids and it was a meltdown. This time I left them at home and my friend and I decided to make sure we got some good hometown biscuits to start our day off right. Welcome to Callies Hot Little Biscuit! I will tell you what I love about this place, 5 things you need to know about Callies, and ways for you dig right into Callies even if you aren’t in Charleston.

First, let’s watch a video!

I love biscuits! It’s a staple in my home. Even though I am trying to lose weight I can cheat with a biscuit every now and again. Keep in mind they do have gluten-free biscuits but they are made fresh to order so you will have to wait a bit to get that. They bake everything fresh which makes them different from everyone else. Let me repeat everything is made by hand fresh every morning. Yeah, this ain’t got nothing on the rest of those places that reheat from the day before or use frozen biscuits and warm it up.

Their small and that’s a good thing because it’s acceptable to eat 2.

Callies sell more than just biscuits.

So let’s talk about my thoughts. You can taste the freshness! It’s so fresh that it falls apart. Y’all know how some biscuits are like rocks this is definitely not a rock. My favorite biscuit is the reg buttermilk and the Cinnamon biscuits. I love them all but I will eat those two all day! Now let’s get to 5 things that make Callie’s Hot.

They have Butter. Who is butter?

They are in your local grocery stores. Publix (my favorite) sells them although I haven’t seen them in the publix near me but I live in the country so there is that.

They cater! So if you are having a wedding in the morning this would be a great brunch type of thing that you can have at your wedding. If you have an event and you need a breakfast item this would be the perfect item to have.

You can make your own biscuits and take a class with them. Great date night idea!

Did I mention that you can shop online? Yes you can and I have ordered a lot of biscuits, jams, and other items right from their website and they shipped it to my door. It came cold so that was no issue!

How We Ship Your Order

Callie’s Biscuits are shipped in insulated boxes with frozen gel packs and a two-day transit. They will arrive on your doorstep fully baked, frozen and ready to be reheated or placed in the freezer. Please note, your order will arrive cool to the touch and not necessarily frozen-and this is totally fine! Our biscuits are fully baked before they are frozen, so nothing will spoil. You can re-freeze them when they arrive.

So now that you have all the info about Callie’s will you be checking them out? If you order let me know what you think and if you have a recipe make sure you share it!

I have a serious weakness for biscuits. Being able to shop online for these might prove to be dangerous for me–yummy though!

I love fresh from the oven biscuits. Add a little butter and I am in heaven. I could make a meal out of them.

Okay, I am very in love with these biscuits already! The simple fact they have Gluten Free options is amazing. More places need this for people like my daughter and me.
