When it comes to giving your home a fresh makeover, the budget doesn’t need to be extremely high. We all crave the comfort of a cozy, well-designed home and while many people work tirelessly to update or renovate their home, itis possible to do it without breaking the bank. So what are some tips and tricks to help us bypass the time and renovate our home without going crazy? Here are a few of them below that you can get working on right now. You can totally update your home while stuck inside.

4 ways To Update your Home While Stuck Inside

Add A Coat Of Paint– One of the biggest things you can do to change the look or feel of a room is to change the color of it. This doesn’t mean you need to paint your master bedroom a new color but you could even add just an accent wall on one of them. Recently I heard of a sponge challenge where you can cut up a sponge in a particular shape such as a rectangle or hexagon. Pour your paint on a small plate and dip your sponge into it. Let some of the excess paint drip down before pressing it onto the wall. Once you’ve finished your pattern of shapes, use a Q-tip to clean up any paint that may have slid down when you pressed it. This is such a fun and easy way to make a statement in your powder room, bedroom or laundry room.

Update Pulls or Handles – One of the biggest ways you’re home can look dated is the pulls or handles that you have in your powder room or kitchen. There is no excuse to not update all your cabinets and door handles when it is so simple to do. There are numerous finishes to choose from such as brushed nickel, aged copper, shiny stainless or bronze. With so many modern choices on the market, it can be difficult to find what best suits your home. Don’t stress too much about it. There are no rules when it comes to choosing the right pulls or knobs, especially if you want a modern chic kitchen or a farmhouse country bathroom. The design is really up to know and updating your bathroom cupboards can be easy and remove, add and enjoy!

Rearrange your furniture – While we’re stuck inside, why not take the time to try and rearrange your furniture in a way that maybe will make more sense. If you have a couch that is taking over your window area, switch it around to bring more light into the room. Can you move any other pieces in or out of the space to make it an easier way to get around? Add a pop of color with an accent chair in the corner by the fireplace, some cozy pillows or a comfortable rug. Another idea is to sit in various areas of your home to get a different angle of what you want. Check out Pinterest or Google to see how others arrange their furniture and see if you can do the same thing to your space.

Schedule Roof Inspection – Did you know that your roof is one of the most important aspects that you want to be checked on in your home? It’s what stands between us and all of our valuableness plus the weather outside. If you live in an area where there are heavy storms or your roof is more than a few years old, it’s a good idea to have it checked out by professionals. Schedules with a professional in Atlanta are called Southeastern Roofing Company who can help spot potential problems before they even occur or get too out of hand. They have over 20 years of experience to help you renovate your project as an Atlanta residential roofer professional. While some roofing companies are familiar with only certain types of roofing their vast experience allows them to work on all types of inspections for commercial roofing. If you’re having trouble with your siding or want to install new gutters they can also help assist that.

There are several other things you can do while we wait for the chaos of the world to slowly disappear. While we have the time in our home for who knows how long, we can work and take our time to start these projects together. Whether you just need a quick fix on adding a new desk or chair to a room or deciding on a new light fixture to bring more light into your space. What new things are you excited to fix, add or change to your home?
