I like to think of myself as a cool mom. The hip mom. The mom that doesn’t play but will cut the fool with you in the same breath. The mom who has real conversations with her kids and her kid’s friends. If your kids come around me I will cuss a time or two but they will be fed and well taken care of. The other day I took my son and his friends out for his birthday. We had a blast and there was a conversation between the boys that I thought was a good one to let me know what type of ladies they will like in the future.
Conversations with boys
Friend 1: Hey Dman, you didn’t invite your girlfriend out with us
Dman (my son): No and shut up
Friend 2: I’m going to call her
*calls her*
Dman: Mom…..
Me: Call her up ask her to come
Dman: Mom wow you are agreeing with this
Friend 2: Hey Dman wanted to know if you are coming to TopGolf with us today he says he misses you
Me: Laughs….
Friend 1: He says he loves you
I made them hang up the phone because my son was getting mad
Me: So what type of girls do you all like? Kim Kardashian….
Friend 1: Nah she is fake I like a real down to earth girl
Friend 2: I like girls who can cook because I’m always hungry
Dman: I just like a girl who plays video games

We went to TopGolf here in Atlanta and had a blast. I loved the atmosphere where parents can be chill while the kids play. If you are ever in Atlanta make sure you check them out!
