An easy way to make sweet tea

Sweet Tea…the legal drug of the south. The drink that will give you the refreshing feel of always sitting on a front porch even if you are sitting in your living room with kids running around acting cray cray. I love sweet tea which is why I am still a big girl. Let’s face it…I won’t be giving up my tea unless I absolutely have to. I tried doing the unsweetened route while going out so I can sweeten it myself…that lasted one time. I can make my own sweetened tea at home which allows me to dump the entire bag in there. Here is an easy way to make sweet tea and make sure you check out other sweet teas that I have listed to make your Summer even more special.

Easy way to make Sweet Tea

8 Tea bags I use Luizineana Ice tea one

Big pot of boiling water (you can ice it down later) Big pot like you boiling some grabs or at least the next size down

Boil the water first then let your tea bags sit in it and take a nice hot bath. Usually for about 10 min to 15 min

Add in about a cup of sugar…more if you want. Ok I add in 2 don’t judge me

Now here is a secret…

Whatever pitcher you are about to use to put the tea in the Fridge pour in about 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda then pour the tea from the pot over it. Do this in a sink because it might be a splashy mess. Taste and sweeten more if needed.
