In-Room Celebration
One of the best ways to make a Walt Disney World birthday celebration magical is with an in-room celebration. Although there are versions of this for all ages, teens especially get enjoyment out of having a gift basket full of goodies to start the celebration. You can arrange your in-room birthday celebration at Disney Floral and Gifts. The offerings there work for almost any price range, depending on how elaborate you want the gift to be. In-room celebrations can be themed to Mickey and friends, princesses, pirates, and even villains. There is a shop for Disneyland, too.
Cake
There are a few ways to do dessert when you celebrate a birthday at Disney. You may get a free dessert, which is usually a small sundae or a cupcake. If you order a dessert off the menu, you may be charged, but if they know, it is your birthday you will get a happy birthday message scrawled onto your plate. The other two options are to order a special cake in advance through the cake ordering hotline 407-827-2253, and buying a 6″ “Celebrate Today!” cake without advance notice. The “Celebrate Today!” cakes come in chocolate or vanilla. The pre-ordered cakes are customizable.
Dining Reservations
A special dining reservation goes a long way to a proper teen Disney World Birthday celebration, especially if you note that you are celebrating in your reservation. Depending on where you go, there will be different levels of preparation for your table. All Walt Disney World table service restaurants will provide some extra Disney magic when they know it is your birthday. Since there are so many different places to eat at Walt Disney World, there is a perfect place for any teen to have a perfect celebration, whether it’s at the California Grill or Sebastians.
Guided Tours
A surefire way to make any special occasion at Walt Disney World more magical is with a guided tour. Teens can experience all kinds of unique opportunities at Disney World. The Aqua Tour is for the lover of marine animals and includes a swimming excursion in the aquarium at the Seas with Nemo and friends. There are also backstage tours, a Star Wars tour, a nighttime Safari, and many more magical tours and events to choose from.
