Y’all know I love my food spots and I am always looking for the next food place to visit. My daughter had a dentist appointment in Cobb county (yes I travel far for a good dentist her dentist is an hr from me) so after the appointment, I wanted to go somewhere to eat. She suggested waffle house but I am tired of them and IHOP so I decided to check out Pancake Social here in Atlanta. I wanted to go when they first opened but I never got around to going so since I had to pass it by to get back home I thought I would go and check it out. Here is what we thought about Pancake Social Atlanta.

Pancake Social Atlanta

It’s near our favorite place Ponce City Market. If you spend the night there you can get up and go right to breakfast when you get up that morning. Parking is always a beast over there but I stalked a parking spot for about 10 min before one finally opened up. I knew someone had to move at some point right. I didn’t feel like walking or paying for valet so we waited……it paid off and we were able to park right in the front. We went in and it was empty. Not surprising since it was the middle of the day. I am glad we didn’t go that morning because it probably would have been packed.

Since we’ve never been there I had to take a moment to check out the menu. I always ask the workers who work there what’s the best thing to order. The guy said Pancakes…so we got pancakes. I started to get my daughter the main pancake dish but he said it was too much even for him so I decided to order one main pancake and then add one more that way she had two and I had two. I also ordered a latte which came decaf with almond milk just how I like it.

Peep the design! This is the first time I ever had a design in my latte so y’all know I had to take all the pictures lol.

You can seat yourself which I loved so we sat near the front entrance because it was empty and we had a great view. Plus as a photographer, I like to be near the light source so there is that. Now let’s talk food…..

The pancake was HUGE! I eat a lot and I couldn’t finish the two I had and neither could my daughter. One is way more than enough….way more. The latte needed a load of sugar but that’s just me. It was good but not dunkin donuts good if you know what I mean. I love that they brought over various types of toppings for your pancake so for those who don’t want syrup they have other options. I also loved that you can see them cooking in the back…that’s always neat to see. BTW water is free and comes in a cute bottle!

The prices are a bit high for what you get. I suggest you stick with the pancakes that is the best bang for your buck. Now have I had better pancakes….yep…. I won’t lie but it’s a great place to try out and get social with others.

What’s your favorite pancake spot in your neighborhood?

I do love pancakes and these look delicious. Now to find a place that makes vegan pancakes so I can enjoy them as I have a dairy allergy.

Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast items. This is breath of fresh air away from IHOP, which, to me, is too commercial and too many frills. I love the atmosphere of Pancake Social.

That looks like a nice place to go. I love having pancakes for breakfast as well. There are a lot of great places I love to go, including Dennys and IHOP.

Mmm, I love pancakes. I don’t have a local pancake shop that I go to but there is one hotel I go to out of town whose pancakes are awesome.
