Natural Brands worth checking out

I have been on a natural kick these past couple of months. Health is so important these days and it’s not just about exercising it’s also about what we put in and on our bodies. My son has allergies that are really bad and I find it so much easier to manage his illness with better products that are all-natural. Since he has allergies I make an effort to join him in the healthy changes that we are making. Now I have not gone all the way natural but I have changed up a lot of things. From the deodorants we use to the foods we eat, even down to the towels we dry off with. My son doesn’t like all the changes but to be honest, he barely notices the all-natural stuff unless he reads it I don’t tell him. Some things do taste different for him and I will be honest and say it’s a non gmo product and he will make faces but he continues to eat so that’s a good thing right? Here are a few of the natural brands I think you should be checking out.

Check out the quick video that I did that highlights some of the products that I tried out when I went to Shiftcon a few weeks ago. I will name the top 3 that I am completely in love with as of right now.

Sambucol

This product is great for the winter months. I have had this in my medicine cabinet for almost 2 years and we have not gotten sick as of yet (let me go knock on wood). We drink the liquid kind and it tastes like grape juice. Can’t even tell it’s good for you. It’s one of the brands that I use and trust and from a consumer standpoint…works! I buy mine from Amazon as the stores around me never have them in stock. I usually start buying around August because Amazon actually ran out one year. I learned my lesson on that.

Farm to home

I usually buy towels from everywhere with no real thought as what’s in them. Now I can buy the good towels that not only feel great but it’s organic. My son has replaced all his towels with this product (they just launched on QVC and I have all the colors) and so far he has actually bathed and wanted to dry off more. I’m kidding….maybe not you know how teenagers can be. I will say this I tried to use one fo the towels the other day and he noticed and almost tackled me in the hallway. I see I will have to buy my own and put a mark on them.

Numi Organic

I am a tea drinker (sorry my coffee folks) so I always get Numi tea but when I went to Shiftcon here in Atlanta I discovered that they had daily super shots…now I am a fan of making sure I try to naturally stay awake so I was a bit skeptical on this but I took the shots one afternoon and it worked wonders. Let’s back up you see I nap in the mornings for a few hours because I go to be so late at night. I get up to go to work around 11ish and then pick up the kids and by the afternoons I’m tired. I find myself helping the kids with homework with 0 energy. I took a shot of this and I was good to go without compromising my actual bedtime that night. I actually went to bed even earlier than usual because I had so much energy to make it through the evening.

I checked out some other brands but y’all know I gotta use it myself before I tell you the truth on if it’s good or not. Most of the new brands in the video I discovered after attending Shiftcon here in Atlanta. The conference was amazing as I learned about all the new natural products hitting the market and how they help make our lives better in a great and natural way. I want to make sure that I am doing my part in the way we do some things. Not all but at least make changes in some ways.

Now let’s talk Shiftcon. I loved that this event was laser-focused on natural content creators but you didn’t have to necessarily be one to attend. It was so much more than that. I met so many great people who turned me on to some great products and I learned that being who you already are naturally…makes you the best there is.
