The Coronavirus: An Introvert’s Dream

I have been preparing for this day all of my life. As an introvert, I don’t go out as it is but this makes me want to stay in for real for real. Honestly, between the kids coming home daily with stories that are spreading like wildfire and the stuff the news put out it’s hard to figure out what to believe. What I do believe in is KISS….Keep it simple stupid. Like seriously you all should have soap, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies already. This post is all about simple tips to help you manage your fear of Coronavirus.

Simple tips to help you manage your fear of Coronavirus

Get this…..

Oil Of Oregano it kills a lot of stuff and you should keep this in rotation even if there is no virus

Build your immune system by drinking more than just Orange Juice. Make sure you check out this drink.

Stay away from people and order Shipt or Instacart. Instacart even has a new system where you can have them put it on the front porch and you don’t even have to see them.

Here is a book that is great for kids that help them learn about hygiene.

  • Make sure you tell your kids not to drink behind anyone. I didn’t think I had to tell my 10-year-old this but I caught her doing it at a party. Keep your eye on these kids.
  • Put a stamp on your kids hands in the morning (extreme I know) when they get home in the evenings you can see if they have been washing their hands because the stamp will go almost be gone or washed down some
  • I tell my kids to sneeze or cough into their shirts that’s the best way to not spread the germs even on your clothes that they wipe against others.

Only trust certain sites. With so many people talking about the Virus it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s not. Here is a great post that Mommy Talk Show did that highlights how to find the right sites to trust.

My kids like to eat at QT so I tell them to get the hotdogs from the back, not the front. Also, we don’t eat at buffets at all that should be given. I personally don’t want to eat the hotdogs but they are good.

Buy organic to help stay healthy. I love Purdue chicken they are healthy and it delivers right to your house!

Stay out of people’s faces. I don’t like hugs anyway so this is the perfect time to bump hands or just don’t touch me introverts at all.

As an introvert I have a habit of not doing a lot of crowds or being around a lot of folks. That doesn’t mean that I’m immune to stuff but it helps my chances a little. I am not as worried about this virus as some because we wash our hands, I keep my immune system built regardless, and I use common sense. If you stay ready you never have to get ready so be prepared at all times to fight any virus or flu.

What are your concerns with Coronavirus? Are you traveling?

This was a good post with really good tips. I’m an introvert as well. I agree a lot of this is being hyped by the media. I’m not going to travel during this time.

People are panicking. It’s crazy. I’ve already been using Instacart so I don’t have to deal with the craziness of Costco during the tourist season here in Florida. I’ll keep doing that to avoid people as well. 🙂

I cannot believe how crazy this virus is making people all over. I understand to some extent how serious it is but my gosh…sheer panic!

I’m honestly not concerned at all. I think it’s being blown up way to much over social media. People are going nuts buying toilet paper and such. I’m an introvert as well, so I’m glad to stay home most of the time.

I refuse to let fear take over. I can’t believe what is happening right now. The panic is insane. We all need to make a plan instead.

These tips are all things we should be doing for the most part anyway. I haven’t been using oil of oregano but it’s something I will add to my daily regimen. There is so much info circulating out there. I go to the World Health Organization’s website to get my info.

I’m not an introvert, but I work from home. So often I only see folks at coffee shops, stores, our son’s school and church. We continue to wash hands and wipe things down with antibacterial wipes. We also take elderberry syrup to help boost immune systems.
Thanks for sharing my post on reliable news sources; I see too many folks speaking so much misinformation and fear!

I agree with you. I use wipes every day not just now. I just heard about the oil of oregano. That’s what they give to the chickens so I should try it.
