How to Make Your Favorite Starbucks Drinks at Home

Make your favorite Starbucks drinks at home without paying the high prices. Included is a delicious tea, perfect for those days with a cold and two of their top lattes – pumpkin spice and peppermint. Decadent, creamy, and dreamy – perfection for the colder months.

If you’ve always wondered how to make your favorite Starbucks drinks at home, look no further. Although I can’t cover every recipe Starbucks has to offer, I’m going to share three of my favorites! Of course, you can always give a quick Google to make the recipes you might not find here. It’s amazing what you can find on the internet to suit your needs.

While you’re at it, you should make some Macadamia Nut Cookies, Peach Pound Cake, or Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting to pair with your tasty drink.

Copycat Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea

Ingredients:

 

 

Directions:

 

  1. Combine the water and lemonade. Heat until almost boiling.
  2. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve.
  3. Steep both tea bags in the lemonade mixture for about 4 minutes. Ring out and discard.
  4. Stir and enjoy. Add more or less sugar depending on your preferences. Honey and other sweeteners are also a great choice.

 

Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

 

Ingredients:

 

Syrup:

  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 3 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree

 

Latte:

  • 8 Ounces Espresso
  • 8 Ounces Frothed Milk
  • 6 Tablespoons Pumpkin Syrup

 

Directions:

 

  1. Add the water and pumpkin pie spice to a small saucepan. Stir and let simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Strain the water mixture through a cheesecloth and put it back in the saucepan.
  3. Add the sugar and pumpkin puree and continue to simmer at a light boil for 10-15 minutes.
  4. In a 16-ounce or bigger cup, combine the espresso and pumpkin syrup and mix (save the rest of the syrup in the fridge for up to 10 days for later use).
  5. Pour the milk over the mixture and stir.
  6. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!

 

Copycat Starbucks Peppermint Latte

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 ¼ Cups Whole Milk, frothed
  • ½ Cup Espresso
  • ¼ Cup Whole Milk
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Peppermint Simple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar

 

Directions:

 

  1. Heat the un-frothed whole milk with the cocoa powder on lower heat in a saucepan over the stove. Only heat enough until the cocoa powder dissolves when stirred. Do not bring it to a boil.
  2. Add in the sugar and fully dissolve.
  3. Remove from the stove and stir in the espresso and simple syrup. Stir well.
  4. Pour into a 16-ounce or larger cup and gently pour in the frothed milk and give a light stir.
  5. Top with whipped cream and enjoy! Adjust sugar and peppermint syrup per your taste preferences.
