I need to get out and take photos for fun more often. I work and do photoshoots a lot but nothing that ever makes me feel creative in a sense. I want to make sure I do this more often with or without clickin moms. So a little about Clickin Moms if you don’t know it’s a group of moms (some that are not moms) who come together to learn all there is to know about photography. I am not a member of the group but I do receive the magazine which is my favorite magazine ever. Every year they do a Clickin Walk which is held in cities across the world.
Clickin Walk is an opportunity for those of us who have come to know each other in the virtual world to come together in the physical world. We want to share our passion for photography with others who truly know our excitement over a decisive moment, a new lens, or a perfect pocket of light.
I missed last years walk but I have attended one before. I always have fun and get to see things beyond my work. Here is what I did this year for Clickin Walk 2019 that was held in Atlanta, GA.

This year’s walk was held at Krog Street Market. I have never been down there and boy is it busy. I think that’s where the young folks hang out. As an introvert, it was a little too much for me but I think I would love to go back in the weekday where it may be less of a crowd. I wonder if he was single…probably not. The batch of guys I’ve come across are stale. They need to go back in the oven and bake some more.
Overall I had a great time. I didn’t talk much as I was trying to get in as many pictures as I could because I had other things to do that day but I think I may do this for myself at least twice a month. Just pick a spot out and about and have my son and daughter go with me and we have an evening of just taking photos. If you are ever thinking about joining Cickin Moms do so. It’s a great platform for new and seasoned photographers. At least follow them on social media if you can. Here are pics from when I went a few years ago.
