Target is the best thing ever

I am a target stalker. A target lover. A target spender.

I think it’s the red circles you look at that circle long enough and you will spend all of your money. A few months ago I joined in with my photo buddy Octavia from Octavia Elease Photography to do a Target Challenge. Simply put you go into target and do a photo shoot right in Target. I am not a huge fan of taking photos inside because of that lighting but we pulled it through. It was fun and it got me out of my comfort zone. I was a little scared to bring my big boy camera out in target because I knew I was going to get funny looks but I did it. We also let the management know what we were doing just in case someone wanted to be the Target Police. Here is why I think Target is the best thing ever.

Target is the best thing ever

Whenever I go into target I start with Starbucks. If it’s hot I get an iced caramel latte decaf (I gotta sleep) with Almond Milk (So I won’t blow up their bathroom which normally does stay clean) I get the hot version in the winter. It’s something about Starbucks and walking through Target that just calms me. I have to have that first. After I grab my drink I go to the dollar section in the front. They always have the seasonal stuff for dirt cheap. I use the dollar stuff for my flay lays when it comes to photography.

After I leave the dollar section I make my way to the clothes section. I am plus size and they have some great outfits for my size. No lie I have some grey jeans from Target that I bought 3 years ago and they still fit good and they hug my curves very well. Makes me even look like I have a booty when I have none. Their plus size section is nice and I can even fit some of their women stuff if they have a size 18. The grey pants above…I bought it in a size 16 and it fits me perfectly! I love that they fit my style!

We were a little sticker shocked at the price of the above jersey.

After I leave the clothes section I head over to get some wine.

What’s your favorite wine?

Here is what I need more of from Target

• More food options. Not all Targets have a good section of food. I’m talking about the kind of food wally world has. They gotta step it up if they want to compete
• Prices aren’t that different from Walmart but there is a difference probably by a few cents but if you are a saver that makes a difference even if it’s a dime
• They are closing down Targets while wally world is on every corner. There is only one that is in 20 mins of me the other one is about 45. I can get to 3 wally worlds before I get to that Target that is 45 min away
• Walmart has a bakery and seafood. I haven’t seen any Targets that have a good selection of meat. I don’t buy Walmart meat either but I still want it there
• Their shoes are nice but I have wide feet….it’s hard to find shoes that fit me well in there so their shoe section is a no for me
• More decorative displays. I love their pillows and stuff but they only have the magnolia stuff out in a fab display I need them to have more of a display of things so I can see the entire picture put together
• They run out of stuff a lot. They have got to do a better job of keeping popular items in stock. I don’t want to go all over no man’s land trying to find something simple

I also need them to help me stop spending money when I go in. I go in thinking I will spend 30 bucks I always end up spending 3 times that much on just random things.
