Nashville Travel guide of what to eat and see

The kids and I traveled to Nashville, TN the first year I lost the hubs. We were thinking of going up there for Fall break and I realized that I never did a post on what to eat and see in Nashville. I visited a few of these places but didn’t get to see all. I had to call on my girl Angela to get the details on what Nashville has to offer. She lives there and she knows what’s good and what’s not. So come along while I give you the travel guide of what to eat and see in Nashville.

What to eat and see in Nashville

First, let’s start with where to eat because I love to eat.

Monell’s

This place was the bomb! We went the day before Christmas and it was packed. We had to wait about 2 hours to be seated but it was well worth the wait. You sit with others and you dine on good old southern food. I’m talking the food your mama dem use to make back in the day. Monell’s was so filling I don’t think I ate anything for the rest of the day.

Loveless Cafe

I’m going to keep this southern with the food. If you love a good biscuit try Loveless Cafe. They have been around since the 1950’s so I think they know a thing or two about southern food. You can buy the biscuits and make it at home but I don’t know….when I try to recreate things from home it never turns out to good.

Princes Hot Chicken

If you like your chicken hot and spicy then this is a great place to visit. I mean Hattie’s B is good but this place is the OG. If you eat this before you do Hattie you will know what I mean. We visited when we were leaving out and boy my mouth was on fire but in a good way. Make sure you have your water handy!

The Pharmacy

Love a good burger? I found just the spot for you. Try the farm burger….just try it. Tell me what you think when you do because this place gets the burgers right. I love a good burger and I’m not a huge fan of fast food joints so this place takes the cake. They also have an old school fountain for milkshakes and ice cream sodas.

Now let’s move on to what you should see while in Nashville, TN

What to eat and see in Nashville

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens

I’m a photographer and this is a great place to take some fab photos. Imagine the beauty during the different seasons. This is a great place to visit if you are in town. It can be a romantic spot or you can take the kids. Whatever you do don’t forget your camera.

Nashville Shores Water Park

Waterpark fun in the summer and cabins with smores in the winter. I think that sounds like the perfect mix. If you have an RV even better. Nashville Shores water park also has a treetop adventure activity that will have you soaring above trees…literally. If you are a daredevil this is the place for you!

Nashville Opryland

So this is the place we originally wanted to be at for the holidays when we went. We had everything booked but decided to stay with some friends instead and cancel the reservations. It’s always good to save some money! Since we didn’t have to spend any money we still went to see the lights and it was amazing. We also saw a play while we were there and enjoyed some beautiful music. Make sure you visit Opryland if you are in town!

Country Music Hall of Fame

Look Nashville is the country music capital city there is no denying that. So while you are in Nashville make sure you check out the Country Music Hall of Fame. I know a lot of people don’t like country music but trust me when I say you need to go. Some things in this museum might surprise you!

BTW if you love to post up on Instagram here is a spot that you can grab some cool Insta pics with.

We did visit the mall while we were there…you can skip that and one more cool place that we ate at was The Rainforest Cafe. This is a perfect place for little kids and it’s so cool that you will get lost in the atmosphere and forget about eating lol.

Have you ever been to Nashville, TN? If you have what’s your favorite place to eat or see? If you want to see more of our Tennesse adventures check out this post of when we went to Gatlinburg, TN

I’ve been through Nashville but never actually visited. My husband has been there and he loved the food. I’ve heard of a couple of the restaurants and of course, the Country Music Hall of Fame. There’s so much to see and do and I want to visit soon.

We’ve only been to the airport in Nashville and it seemed nice! I wouldn’t mind exploring it one day. I know I’d love the food. The music isn’t always my taste, but I’m all about hot chicken.

You would love Arrington Vineyard too for photography! It’s about an hour outside of Nashville headed back toward Atlanta but the scenery is beautiful! And you def mentioned all the good food places!

I visited Nashville years ago and have some really great memories. The Grand ‘Ol Opry was the most memorable. Everywhere you go, it’s country music 24/7, which I love!

I’ve been to Nashville twice I believe. Both times were for work so I did not get to go out and explore the way I wanted. I’m drooling at the thought of a good country biscuit.

The last time I went to Nashville, I ate at a soul food restaurant downtown. It was so good, but I can’t remember the name because it was several years ago. Glad to see your suggestions though.

If јob security is high on your checklist of priorities, that is one other factor that is not provided by freelancing.
Many people need to be assured of reցular revenue, at a pricе that thеy ϲan rely on, in an effort
to қeep their bills ɑnd everyday residing expenses as muϲh as date.

Freelancing will not present the job and income safety that you would have from being on the
    employees of a law firm.
