Taco Pasta for Taco Tuesday

I eat tacos every Tuesday and we just change up the meat. It makes it easy to plan and prep for dinner. My kids said they were tired of tacos every Tuesday so they asked me to switch it up and so I did. Taco Pasta it is. I didn’t know what I was doing but it turned out good so modify and change whatever you need to make this dish your own I’m only giving you the basics to start with so without further ado here is taco pasta for taco Tuesday. Change is good!

1 lb Ground beef

4 cloves Garlic

1/2 tsp Oregano, dried

1 Parsley

1 Yellow onion

1 cup Salsa, jar is fine or you can make your own

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 lb Shells pasta,

1 Pepper

1 tsp Red pepper flakes

1 Salt

2 tbsp Taco seasoning

1 tbsp Canola oil

1 Tortilla chips1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese

1 Cheese

1 Sour cream

3/4 cup Water

Boil the noodles according to the package

While pasta is cooking brown the beef. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add some canola oil, brown the beef, and drain the resulting fat.

Next, add in the onions, garlic, and the rest of the herbs and seasonings. Pour some water (or chicken broth) and cook until it dries up.

Toss in the cooked noodles, salsa, and cheese.

Lastly, garnish with crushed tortilla chips, a dollop of sour cream, chopped parsley, and shredded cheese.
