My son is 12 and I have no idea what to get him for Christmas. He already has a computer, he has the Xbox, a tv, and a cell phone. What more could he want? My daughter has her list together so I thought I would ask my son what he wanted for Christmas.
Bedroom Shoes for Christmas
Me: I don’t know what to tell Santa to get you for the holidays
Son: You mean you. What do you tell yourself to get me for the holidays?
Me: Well I’m broke so name 2 things you want and I will see if I can get it
Son: Funny you were broke when it was “Santa” and you are still broke when it’s you
Me: Are you getting smart with me. That’s why you are on the naughty list. Now you ain’t getting shat
Son: Ok ok…just get me some Jordan shoes and bedroom shoes. So I can be comfortable walking around the house
Me: Bedroom shoes? Hmmmm I need some. Of course, I’m selfish so I will get bedroom shoes before you do *evil laugh* Jordans is a no. You can spend your check on those expensive shoes when you get older
Son: You can get me a pair of bedroom shoes that surely should fit into your “budget”
Me: You still getting smart. I will think about it but now that you mention bedroom shoes……
I am funny when it comes to my bedroom shoes. I need stuff that can go everywhere with me and I do mean everywhere. I received some Vionic bedroom shoes the other day that have put all other bedroom shoes to shame. I have been walking in them since I got them and I can see why they were a part of Oprah’s favorite things list. So comfortable, durable (even in the worst of weather), and so fluffy. These shoes have arch support which is good especially as I get older. My son said he wanted a pair of these and I may get him some for the holidays. Shhh don’t tell him.

November 14, 2018 at 12:56 pmAt least there was some give and take when it comes to shoes. I wear a nice pair of slippers all the time around the house. Supposedly it is better for your feet if you don’t walk around barefoot all the time.
