Challenge your mind with The Escape game Atlanta

Last week I went to the Escape Game in Atlanta near the battery park. For those not familiar with Atlanta it’s in the area where the Braves play. The area is called Suntrust park and it’s so fun to be out there. I felt young and hip but I didn’t feel young at all when I went to the Escape game. I’m going to give you some info on the Escape Game, tell you 5 things you need to prepare yourself for, and what I thought about the place. If you ever visit Atlanta or live in Atlanta make sure you challenge your mind with the Escape game Atlanta.

The Escape Game Atlanta

The Escape Game Atlanta

Our adventures bring epic stories to life in a one-of-a-kind tactile experience. These games are real, existing in the physical space and require mind, body and all five senses. It’s social, immersive, challenging and it is fun.

Enter one of our immersive worlds and recover a priceless work of art, find lost gold or break out of prison. Your team will have one hour to complete your mission and escape.

The Escape Game is great for families, friends, couples, team building, and really anyone looking for something new and different.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. First, you’ll pick your adventure
  2. We’ll take you into one of our immersive worlds, where you’ll watch a quick video explaining how to play.
  3. You’ll have one hour to work with your team to overcome challenges, find clues, solve puzzles and finish the story
  4. It’s totally safe and so much fun!

What makes The Escape game unique?

  1. Custom Design: We build our adventures from scratch, employing our prop warehouse and an array of sophisticated robotics to bring our worlds to life.
  2. Our Games Are Epic For Everyone: We make the most accessible and immersive escape games. Because we’re guest-obsessed, our adventures are more exciting, more inviting and everyone contributes to the action. Everyone gets a chance to save the day.
  3. Surprising Twists: In our escape games, nothing ever plays out quite as you’d expect. We fill each adventure with new revelations and curveballs that keep you guessing until the last second.
  4. Make Memories, Together: If you want to emerge victoriously, you’ll have to work together as a team. It’s tough, It’s fun, It’s funny. It will keep you talking for years to come.

5 Things to help you prepare for The Escape Game

  1. Make sure you come with a team that will work to win. If you don’t have a solid team you may not get out in time. Have someone who knows math (hint)
  2. Don’t feel defeated if you don’t get out in time…have fun….but deep deep down….feel ashamed that you didn’t get out in time lol
  3. Wear comfortable clothing…there may or may not be some phyiscal activity you will have to do. Don’t come in wearing heels and pick the wrong game….#imjustsaying
  4. Work on what other people aren’t working on. I was the lock opener when I went because I was good at that. Find your strength!
  5. Search the room thoroughly. Everything is a clue of some sort…..everything.

Gold Rush

So I did the Gold Rush room. Looked really easy…so I thought. We got out with 3 min to spear. It wasn’t as easy as it looked. I had so much fun thinking. I think that is the biggest thing about these games you have to think. What you think is a clue may or may not be one and what you think is something simple could be the key to winning the game. I know I’m talking in riddles but trust me when I say none of the games are easy as pie. You will have to work and put your thinking cap on to win. I think it’s great for kids (10 and up) to join in on the fun, so make this a part of a birthday party for kids or go with your entire family and break up into teams.

The Escape Game Atlanta

The process to sign up for the games are easy and I love that merch that they had. Don’t worry about clues they give you a few and if you need to leave the room at any time you can this isn’t like the movie at all.

The Escape Game Atlanta

So would you do the Escape Game? Who would be the person you carry with you and why?

We love Escape Rooms! We went twice last week when we were at the beach with the grandkids. They even had kid-friendly ones. We escaped both times but one of them was really a challenge.

I keep hearing so much about escape rooms they always sound like something really interesting to do! I have to admit I do worry about them being claustrophobic, is that an issue at all?

I am claustrophobic also and I was concerned but not it’s not an issue at all. They have plenty of room to move around so not everyone is close on each other and the walls are not as closed in so there is space for a good 10 people to fit in comfortably and still have room to breathe

Escape rooms are so fun! The one we have in my town changes its themes on a monthly basis. That means we can go every month if we want to!

Babushka isn’t a fan of timed activities, but she’d give it a try with The Grands if there was one for younger children.
