For the Age That Needs Help

When it comes to the tinier kiddos that are aware and want to do something special for their parents, but can’t do it alone, it’s fun to make it a family thing. So, instead of them trying something alone, make a fun breakfast together as a family. You can eat it together, in bed, as a family, while watching cartoons, or a movie. You can also help them make breakfast and then run, get in bed, and let them bring it to you like you never got up. Here are a few family breakfast ideas for Valentine’s morning!

For the Kids Who Can Cook Alone

Once kids finally get old enough that they can cook alone without needing supervision, it’s a sweet day for mom and dad. Of course, there’s the mouthy behavior and attitudes that come with that age, but eventually that will pass. It’s worth it until then, I think. Anyways, once they’re at this age, they can usually come up with something on their own. However, here are a few great recipes for them to try on their own!

There are so many fun ways to make breakfast a memorable experience for kiddos and even for yourself. Many of these recipes would work great for those kiddos at that in between age as well. You know, the kids that can’t quite cook alone if a stove is involved, but can make a little something without supervision.     I adore the ideas! The kids will be learning that taking care of someone and making that person feel good is something we all need to know how to do.

    I like the ones that dont make a mess in the kitchen. Breakfast in bed is no fun when I have to clean up the kitchen.

    These are such great ideas. I’m sure my kids could do this as well. They love to help out, and I’m sure they’d love to do any of these.
