If you need a quick and easy appetizer that works any time of the year, these Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts are the perfect choice! Peppered bacon is wrapped around fresh brussel sprouts and baked to perfection. A delicious yet easy snack that’s also healthy!
Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts
One of the hardest aspects about a get together, for me, is coming up with yummy appetizers that don’t take up all my time. Sure, there are some delicious options out there, but there are so many aspects to a party, that there might not be time for multiple fancy appetizers. Let’s be real, you can’t just chill with one appetizer. It’s pretty commonplace to have more than one, and this mama needs easy options.
I bought bacon from Perdue farm which was my first time buying bacon online. Due to Covid, I thought I would try it out and give you all the real deal on how it came packaged. I was surprised by the speed at which it came (earlier than expected) it was also wrapped very well with dry ice and sealed well. I was satisfied with the packaging so much so that I will be ordering again. Y’all know I’m picky about my food so this was a winner!
These Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts take only a couple of minutes to prep, only 3-4 ingredients, and only 20 minutes to cook. Which, the cooking time can be used for prep on other appetizers, like these easy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings or this Cheesy Sausage Dip. Have fun with it!
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Yields: 20 Pieces
Ingredients:
- 20 Brussel Sprouts
- 10 Thick Slices Bacon
- 8 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Hot Water
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut each slice of bacon in half widthwise.
- Place the honey and water in a small dish and mix well until thoroughly combined and the honey is a little thinner.
- Brush the honey mixture onto each strip of bacon then sprinkle with black pepper.
- Place one brussel sprout at the very end of each slice of bacon and roll it up in a similar manner as you would pigs in a blanket.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Be sure the side where the end of the bacon landed is facing down.
- Brush with more of the honey mixture, sprinkle with more black pepper, and bake for 20 minutes or until the bacon is to your liking.
- Stick with toothpicks if desired, serve, and enjoy!

February 2, 2021 at 10:15 pmBrussel sprouts with bacon is everything! I usually just crumble the bacon up and mix. Brussel sprouts are also great in homemade ramen too.
