Welcome back to Whump Day Wed. I am having so much fun with my series. Thank you all so much for checking it out! Don’t forget to really keep up with me you need to sign up to my Talk Tuesday newsletter that comes out every Tuesday! Here is what I am reading, doing, watching, and listening to this week…..
My goal is to read a book a month. I am starting on Sarah Jakes Roberts new book Don’t settle for safe. I am just one chapter in but so far it’s really good. I read on my tablet. Who still reads books by hands? I like the ease of highlighting and having a lighted pad so I can read in the dark.
So I hired an associate editor for It’s Really Kita. I need someone to help me keep up with the latest trends and content for my website so I can talk shat….that’s what I do lol. I need help coming up with stuff to talk about. I also need to find a way to organize my planning. I was debating if I should look into Asana for task management stuff since I will be hiring a team or should I do trello to keep up with my blog content. Right now I use the wordpress calendar to plan out content and if I come up with an idea I write it down in my todist app. That’s how I have been doing it but now since I hired someone I want her to have access to my calendar and a way for us to bounce ideas off each other for content. How do you organize your blog life? Do you use a management system or a planner? I just need to make sure I am on top of stuff a little better. I have also started batch processing my photos on the weekends so that I can have readily available photos for my social media feeds ahead of time and not having to take photos at the last min. This saves me so much time….good gawd.
There is really only one song I love off of Beyonce Latest album….for some reason I have been listening to it on repeat. I still don’t see this on google play….dammit. I am not a huge Beyonce Fan…I love her work ethic but not really a heavy fan. Don’t come for me though lol
What youtube channels are you subscribe to? I love ted talk! This one talks about homelessness. I live in Atlanta…we see it often. They stand on the corner begging for money. Sometimes I think some of these folks do it just to get money they aren’t homeless at all. I am skeptical sometimes but I do give if I feel inclined.
