What’s your favorite wing spot?

I love wings and I am always on the search for some good ones here in Atlanta. I can make them on my own (my Honey wings are the best) but I prefer to buy them. It’s easier and costs about the same. I live in Atlanta so I am always on the hunt for the best wings. Here are a few places I have tried……

Wing Stop – Yep the one that the rapper owns (Rick Ross) – I love their wings! So far they are up on my list for the best places to get wings here in Atlanta. I go to the one located in Snellville, GA. I love their parmesan wings…goodness it’s so good! Their hot wings are okay but if you go get the parmesan.

American Deli – Basic place but it’s good. I like their wings if they are the only place open or near where I’m at I will get them but I am not a big fan of their wings. Way to small for my liking.

Taco Mac – They are known for their wings and we always get their lemon pepper wings. It’s good…like really good. We just had one built near me and we take advantage of those wings often.

Davidos – My hubs and I use to kill them on a weekly basis but since he passed I don’t eat there as much to many memories but they do have some good lemon pepper wings

Buffalo Wild Wings – Nice place to meet a guy on a date. I like their wings but again I don’t love their wings. They are also a bit expensive so maybe you can look at this and make your own

So those are a few places that I eat wings at in Atlanta but what constitutes as a good wing?

  • The sauce has to be on point
  • No one wants little chicken so I like a meaty type of chicken
  • Drums or Flats….I don’t care I like them both but I tend to lean towards the drums more
  • The dipping sauce makes the wing that much better…I prefer a homemade blue cheese whenever I go out….sometimes I like ranch

I prefer wings once a week and I love that I can mix and match. If I go somewhere and I can’t mix and match flavors I don’t usually go back. Who wants hot all the time? If you aren’t the type of person to eat out here is a list of wings you can make right at home

  1. Whiskey Wings | Mantitlement – Mix your whiskey and your wings in this great recipe!
  2. Honey Mustard BBQ Wings | The Frugal Girls – Who doesn’t love the tangy mixture of mustard and BBQ sauce??
  3. Coca-Cola Wings | Culinary Hill – Instead of drinking some coke, pour it on your wings!
  4. Jamaican Jerk Wings | Recipe Recap – Get some Jamaican flavors rolling in your next wing recipe.
  5. Sticky Thai Wings | Café Delites – Make an irresistible sticky wing with this amazing recipe!
  6. Crispy Orange Wings | Recipe Rock – Instead of make the boneless version, make some orange wings!
  7. Bourbon Maple Glazed Wings | Simply Recipes – Get a sweet but bold taste with these wings!
  8. Baked Garlic Parmesan Wings | Joyful Healthy Eats – Try baking your wings instead of frying them!
  9. Baked Honey BBQ Wings | A Night Owl – Try this classic wings recipe out for your next party night!
  10. Cajun Honey Lime Wings | Must Love Home – These wings are tangy and spicy which makes them perfect.

So where do you eat your wings from? Do you cook your own or do you have a preferred spot? Let me know so I can visit whenever I’m in your neck of the woods!

I don’t live in where you do but we have Buffalo Wild Wings and you can always get a great wing from that restaurant. We have a small mom and pop restaurant in our area that does a wonderful hot wing.

I love wings. We don’t have particularly great wing places near me, but Buffalo Wild Wings isn’t terrible and Hooters has decent wings.

I know you’re in ATL, because we’re all about the Wings here! I actually like Buffalo Wild Wings a lot, however I have to be in the mood for it! If that makes sense!

I would love exploring the city and find the best wings. I think I’m with you on the honey barbecue ones. Those would be my favorite so I might focus on that when I do this. You have a great idea here. It makes for a fun date night and when you find something you love and you can stick with it after that.

I used to work at B-Dubs in high school and loved their Thai sauce. The potato wedges there are the best!

I have not found a new wing spot since I moved to Texas. Back in Wisconsin, my favorite wing spot was as hole in the wall and always packed. I miss it!

We finally got a BWW in my area, and my son and I went a few months back. Believe it or not, neither of us ordered wings. Lol! However, we’ve been several times before where we used to live, and they have a great selection. It’s one of my family’s favorite wing spots.

I love the Asian zing wings at Buffalo Wild wings. I don’t really go anywhere but there when I’m feeling the need for wings.

I love wings, but not the hot and spicy ones. Our favorite wing stop is Buffalo Wild Wings and we love their Teriyaki wings. Those whiskey wings sound so good.

I prepare chicken wings at home once in a while. I haven’t found one here in the area that compares to the place we used to go in South KOrea.

My family prefers homemade chicken wings or thigh fillets. Baked, or deep fried or teriyaki style are our favorites. I will check if we have any Wing Stop near our area. Looks like we’re going to love it there.

I can’t fry chicken so I would prefer to buy them at a restaurant. My favorite wings at Wing stop is the Parmesan as well. Does RIck only own that one in Atlanta? Never had coco cola wings.. Love jerk chicken wings, I miss the Jamaican spot in DC. I want to try the Cajun honey lime, sticky thai, orange and bourbon maple glazed..

I think I’m one of the few people who isn’t crazy about wings. I don’t like messy finger food. However, my husband makes wings that I actually like, not just have to tolerate, lol. So I’d say his kitchen is best.

I’m from Upstate NY so Buffalo Wings with blue cheese & celery sticks have always been a staple for me. Pretty much every pizza spot has buffalo’s on the menu up there. I like to make my own (various sauces) and rarely eat wings when out at restaurants. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this but…I actually like the garlic parmessan wings at Little Caesar’s. I tried them one night and was shocked at how good they were!

Sad to say wing stop dissappointed me!!! The lemon pepper was over powered with lemon juice and just pepper idk idk idk if it was supposed to be like that but it was strange. Here in Maryland we have America’s Best wings and their lemon pepper is on the one!

Growing up here in Atlanta, hot wings are a staple food just like sweet tea. American Deli has always been our go-to wing spot! You must order your wings hot and wet, with lemon pepper seasoning. I love BWW Asian Zing and Parmesan Garlic wings! They are the best!

My vote is for Wing Stop. By far they’re the best wings in terms of sauce and size. I am a lemon pepper ALL FLATS fanatic. I could eat them every day.
