What is JCPenney cooking up for the holidays?

November 24, 2017

The holidays are here and JCPenney is on my list as a one-stop shop for all of my holiday needs. Specifically my cooking and kitchen needs. This holiday I want to have everything ready to go to impress my guests because if the food doesn’t do it….my kitchen essentials will. Usually, during the holidays I use paper plates and paper cups. I need to update a lot of things in my kitchen but with money being tight as a single mom I know I need to stretch every penny that I have. Come along with my kids and I as we travel to JCPenney to see what all we can buy. My budget is $50…..let’s go!

This Holiday, JCPenney challenges you to not only stick to your budget but beat your budget to get everything you need on your list. JCPenney had everything and I do mean everything for everyone. The kids in your life….they got it. Your Favorite Aunt…..they have that. Your cousin….got them too! JCPenney has been around a long time. My mom and I shopped there when I was little and this was the main spot that she bought all of her clothes from. The Worthington collection was life back when I was little and now JCPenney has expanded to even more products. They even have electronics for the men in your life! So no one is left out. I had no idea JCPenney sold toys….did you all know? I had to practically drag my daughter out of there. Don’t worry I will be back without her to shop for her.

I was even more shocked at all the Disney items in there. I don’t even have to go to the Disney store and JCPenney is way cheaper…..trust me….way cheaper than the actual Disney Store. If your child loves Disney do not go to that store. You can get all you need and save money for more stuff that you want.

After ooohing and ahhing the Ayesha Curry line I finally got focused on what I needed for the holidays….

There were 3 things I needed that I bought. Let’s see if I stuck to my budget……

Forks and Spoons because my guests shouldn’t have to eat with plastic spoons that break all the time. I have a dishwasher it’s time to focus on great quality forks and spoons for the holiday

A good quality frying pan for the omelets I was going to make my overnight guests that morning for breakfast

and last but not least a cookie sheet to bake me Santa some cookies

Forks and Spoons were on sale. Regular Price 50 bucks on sale for 19.99

Cookie Sheet pan….reg price $27.00 I bought it for $15

Skillet was the most expensive regular price 40.00 and I paid half so 20.00

19.99 + 15.00 + 20.00= 54.99 oh but wait…..

I had a 25% off coupon (I always have my coupons for any store I shop in)

Total price = round about 42 bucks I came in under $50 for three items. I am proud of myself for taking this challenge and getting what I need. Although they had a lot of things I wanted this Christmas I want to focus on what I truly need. Good quality items at a great cost that you can’t beat.

This gifting season, take the holiday challenge at JCPenney and beat your holiday budget. #JCPChallenge Click To Tweet

Get all you want for less than you think from hot trending items and holiday must-haves to unexpected finds all available instore or online at a great value.

Shopping at JCPenney is always worth your time, money and effort with styles that are priced to buy and guaranteed to love

I love shopping in JC Pennys. Although it’s mainly online, I was shocked when I recently went into a store and saw so many options from clothes, toys, housewares. I would be interested in trying this budget out in this store.

LOL Girl, you were bagging me up! You’re like me when I walk into a gun store! OMG! I love JCP and their sales. It’s rare I ever go to the store or shop online that I can’t find something. Speaking of, this momma needs new bedsheets! Happy Shopping!

JCPenney seemed to be on the verge of going out of business, but now it really seems to have kicked it up a notch. I saw an ad for tvs and never even knew they carried tvs. Good deals!!

I haven’t been into JCPenny, or as my grandma used to call it, Pennys, in so long. I didn’t even know Ayesha had a line of kitchen tools. I’ll definitely have to check those out.

I don’t think I have shopped for anything at JCPenny’s other than clothes. I’ve got to go and look around at all the other stuff they sale.

We love JCPenney over the holidays and every year really. It’s my favorite store to find the kids holiday clothes as well as gifts for them and others.

I’ve been trying to get my adulting on. I was telling Babe yesterday that I want to toss out all of our current dishes. I want a simple and clean white set.

I wasnt a big JCPenney fan until my husband started working across the street from a freestanding JCPenney…and I fell in love immediately! We are always in there and its definitely our go to when we need to buy Christmas Gifts because we can usually get a few people done at one time

I love shopping JCP! I miss the buttons the use to do when you made purchases, it made it a lot of fun to return every other day to shop with incentive! They always have great sales!

The video is so hilarious. It can be hard to stay focused when so many things are on sale. But the best thing you could do is buy the things you NEED.

I have to say that I am really proud of Ayesha Curry for following HER dream, and then I’m proud of you for sticking to your budget! Yes, I did know they sold toys, and only found out because of my children. Who ventures over there when there are housewares to be purchased and drooled over?!

JCPenney is one of my fave spots to find great gifts at even greater prices! It sounds like I may need to make a trip there soon to perhaps find a few gifts for myself and my kitchen 😉
