Valentine day treats for your kids class

February 9, 2018

Valentine’s day is next week. Each year I am that parent that wants to go above and beyond for my child’s class. I am not a fan of just doing cards so I always try to add a spin to what I do. To be honest my kids are getting older and the cards and candy don’t faze them anymore so I had to step it up this year. I asked my good friend Kim what she thought I should do and she gave me 2 great ideas.

Strawberry Floats

Vanilla ice cream

Strawberry soda

Place one scoop of ice cream in a cup and pour strawberry soda on top.

Strawberry and Grape Arrow Kabobs

Kabob sticks

Place six grapes on the kabob stick and top with one strawberry.

Check out some more ideas below! What will you be doing for child’s class this Valentine’s Day?

Fortune cookies are a great and unique idea!

A gluten-free option is always a winner

I like the mini idea of this one because mini means I can eat more lol

Here is another take on the one I mentioned above which is a great healthy option

Oreos and dipping ….they had me at Oreos

For those that don’t want the option of baking, this is unique and would work for a class party

Who doesn’t love a good strawberry float. Can’t wait for summer and our strawberries to come on so good when nice and fresh.

A strawberry float sounds like a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Since all of my kids are grown, I don’t have to think about treats for a classroom these days. Yay!

I did fortune cookies one year and it was a hit. I stuffed some with my husband’s name and it took him a minute before he realized they were personalized. Gotta luv him. *smile*

I miss these days when I needed to come up with awesome treats for Valentine’s day! The kids are all grown up now and no longer need me to do this for their class. These are awesome ideas though!

Strawberry floats seem like a wonderful idea! I never think of serving such tasty drinks but I would even prepare this even while I was hosting a dinner party.
