It's Food & Drinks It's Life

July 14, 2016

I received accommodation in exchange for my review all opinions are my own.

As a mother it’s hard to get away from kids. Number one you have to plan just the right weekend or number two you have to make sure your kids are in good hands. Every once and a while I think you should get away even if it’s a hotel right in your city. That’s exactly what I did!

I arrived on a Saturday. The hotel was hidden. It took me about 15 minutes to find the place that’s a good thing because sometimes you have to go off the unbeaten path to find some sanity. I loved that not everyone knew where it was. It can be good and bad because for business you want everyone to know where you are located and easily find you but for me…I loved that not everyone could find this hidden gem that means less crowd and more quietness. It was super quiet and it made the perfect getaway right here in Atlanta, GA

When I arrived the check in was super easy. They have valet to park your car and that’s $15 bucks. It’s charged to your room so you don’t have to worry about paying for it right then and there. (Because I know we don’t carry cash anymore, right). The room….gorgeous! Do you notice that the rooms are the same color scheme as my brand….blue and gold. I felt like I was in heaven…of course the hotel and I planned this *side eye*

Spend the night at HYATT ATLANTA PERIMETER IMG_0100-1024x683 IMG_0103-1024x683

After I settled in I went in search of food because I was hungry. I didn’t feel like leaving the hotel to travel up to where the mall was so I was happy that they had a food place right by the hotel. This was great plus you can order and have it delivered to your room….can I get an Amen! Villa Christina to go.

I ordered the burgers which were the best burgers I had in a while. I decided to stay downstairs while they cooked and chit chatted with the chefs. I loved learning about the hotel, the food they sell, and all that they do. I was eyeing the pizza that they made for someone else hard too…..but since I already had the burger….I kept that. Would it have been greedy of me to get both the pizza and the burger? Yes….probably. The burgers came with Parmesan fries that tasted better than what they looked…and it looked good

After eating it was time to shower up. The showers are huge enough room for two people. To my grown folks…don’t be doing nothing extra…ya heard.

Chile……..that brunch. They almost had to roll me out of there. They had everything you could think of. The staff was awesome and I do mean awesome they talked to you. I love a place that’s not stuffy and treats you like you are a human…it’s rare because most places the staff will just look at you. Not here…..they came to your table, made sure you had everything you needed, if you needed a question answered they answered it. Need Gluten Free? They got you!

Was the food good?

Let me tell you something. I know my food. I won’t ever tell you to eat somewhere if it ain’t good. I will give you the real deal about the place. If the food is good…trust me its good. The one thing I don’t want you to do is spend your hard earned money on things that are not worth it. This right here…is WORTH EVERY DAMN PENNY.

You name it they had it.

  • They make omelets from scratch any way you want it
  • They had salads and the dressing….shut your mouth
  • I could not get enough of the waffle it tasted like butter
  • Or was it the syrup…………..
  • You should have seen the seafood….SHAT
  • Let’s not talk about the dessert table……..

If you are ever in Atlanta…this is the only place you need to go. Do a girls night and then eat some brunch that Sunday. Do a night to yourself and treat you the next morning. Date nights….and brunch the next day…trust me it’s the new way to date.

I have always wanted to visit Atlanta. The closest I have been is Mississippi…but maybe one day! That sure looks like a lovely place to stay! I bet the buffet was amazing!

The blue and gold color scheme is so beautiful! Definitely makes the hotel room feel homey and inviting, which is essential in my opinion. And that food? Oh my! It would be hard not to over indulge with a spread like that!
