Shopping for just the right car

July 18, 2016

My old betsy is on it’s last leg. I have a 2006 car which is old these days. It’s paid for but I know that I will need to get a new car soon..I am thinking by the end of the Summer *sigh* These days cars are so modern. I rented a Dodge Durango to go out of town and it took me a few minutes to work some of the stuff on there….by a few minutes I am talking about at least half an hour. I am so not use to these modern cars. Some don’t even have cd players in them anymore. Times are changing and as I start to look for just the right car there are a few things I need in it.

Shopping for just the right car

I need the color to be right – I am a fan of everything except white. I can’t even wear white because I know I will mess it up. Case in point I wore a white sweater top the other day and messed up the entire from within minutes. Imagine having a white car…..yeah it won’t work. So I have to make sure I get a nice color.

I need a nice radio system – My car can’t do xm radio…yeah it just won’t work. I love xm satellite radio although some say it plays the same songs over and over I still want it because I love the songs that they play…plus I like that there are less commercials. I want something that’s easy to understand and looks good. I also need my bluetooth to hook straight up to the radio…as of right now if I want to listen to my music I have to use my headphones. I can’t play my music in my car *cries*

I must have a sun roof – ever since I was little I wanted a car with a sunroof. I don’t know what it is about sun roofs but they just make you look cool. Drive around around dusk dark in the evenings in the downtown area of a city….I just think it looks cool. Don’t let me pull out my sunglasses…you can’t tell me nada

I need a clean dashboard – I need to understand what I am seeing. What does each of those lights mean and I also need to know how fast I am going. A clean dashboard without all the extra fluff is a good place to start.

I need leather seats – So I have cloth now and my gawd…..when you have two kids who eat in your car the seats become deeeescusting. I don’t even know what’s in my seats and trust me I don’t want to find out. I need leather seats in my next car. Two tone wouldn’t be bad either…..

Trunk Space – So I carry my photography equipment around with me and I also grocery shop once a week. I need space for all that and more.

The Mazda 6 is all that and so much more. I can’t decide though if I want the truck version or the car as their both the bomb.com I need something easy to handle and easy to learn as I know new cars are getting modern by the year. I also need the price to be something that I can afford. I hate car notes but I also don’t want to be behind in the payments every month. Going to buy a car is painful because they pounce on you like an attack as soon as you hit the car lot. I prefer to know what I want, equipped with all he features I want, and go in with a price in mind.

What’s your favorite car? What do you need in a new car? Would you get a truck or a car?

I was provided this Mazda 6 for a review. All opinions are my own!

The Mazda 6 looks like a great car. I love the sleek styling, and I can’t believe how much room they managed to pack into the interior. With a family as big as mine, that’s important!

We’ve never owned a car so I wouldn’t have the first clue what to look for when heading out to buy just the right one. These are some great tips!

We all have different wants and needs when it comes to the perfect vehicle. I certainly agree on the trunk space, and my family of five requires roomy seating too!

I’m in the same boat. My car isn’t doing so well right now. My boyfriend drives a different Mazda model and I like it. I’d probably consider the Mazda 6.

Buying a car is a major investment so we must really look at all the details before we decide on one. The Mazda 6 looks like it is going to perform as promised. I also like a no-frills dashboard!

My next car has to be an SUV. I’m sick of driving around low to the ground. Plus, I would love the extra space, especially for traveling and with the dog. I’m planning on purchasing something new next year and I’m leaning towards a Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, or Durango.

That new Volvo XC90 is pretty dope, but my bank account is not having it. :womp:

The Durango is nice. I rented it a few times because I must have an SUV to travel with these kids. It’s huge though…that’s the only thing I didn’t like I could not whip and nae nae it in and out like I can do something smaller.

I could go without all the fluff on the dashboard too. It feels like an airplane instead of a car when there’s all those gadgets.

We definitely need a new car. We have a 2001 Honda, and need to upgrade to something safe and roomy. As a new driver, I need something that’s reliable, easy to navigate, and affordable.
