Quick and Easy Apple Dessert

May 5, 2016

I love apple pie….more than I love sweet potato pie. Yes I said it! Apples are so good but the funny thing is I love apples more cooked than I do eating them whole. I am always looking for recipes to make a quick and easy apple dessert to get me through until the holidays. I love quick and easy recipes because it saves me time, I know it will be quick, and it’s a semi healthy dessert.

Apple 6 Apple 10

Ingredients:

  • 1 Apple Sliced and Peeled
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Directions:

  1. After you have sliced and peeled your apple, take a piece of tin foil and lay the apple slice in the middle of it.
  2. Coat your apple slices in a generous amount of cinnamon and top with a tablespoon of butter.
  3. Close the tin foil and place in the oven at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until apples are fully cooked.

What’s your favorite apple to cook with or eat? What’s your favorite thing to make with apples?

Oh I love this recipe. It’s so simple and sounds so delicious. My mom used to make apples in a similar way- just adding some butter, cinnamon and sugar. It’s such a quick, tasty way to enjoy apples!

I love Gala apples, I eat them daily. I like to sprinkle some kettle corn popcorn seasoning on it.

Wow! Such a simple recipe. I like apple pie because it has apples and cinnamon. This is a healthier option compared to pies 🙂

I’m not really great at cooking. So I’m glad to find a recipe that looks good, and one that I’m also able to actually complete.

That looks delicious. I love apples but I have to cut them up to eat them. I think that’s weird too. But I don’t like how my teeth feel biting an apples – same with pears.

I love apple pie with a scoop of ice cream on top! Now this right here sounds delicious! I can imagine drizzling caramel on it too. Will be trying this!
