Philly Cheesesteak at home

You can have a philly cheeseteak right in the comfort of your own home. It’s easy to make and you can use any bread you want. I used regular sanwhich bread and didn’t buy the hoagie. This is a quick and easy dinner recipe that you can make on a busy weeknight or a quick weekend dinner. Here is what you will need!

Green Onion

Mushroom

Mozarella Cheese (sliced from deli…I get a pound and that’s enough for my family of three)

Thinly sliced roast beef from the deli (again a pound should do nicely for a family of three)

Onion

Olive Oil

Salt/Pepper/Onion Powder/Garlic Powder

So I take the olive oil and heat up my griddle (cooking this on the griddle is best as it’s wide enough for the entire family if you are cooking for one do it in a frying pan)

I then cut up the onions and mushrooms on top of the olive oil and sauté that really good

Then add in your meat. I spread mine a little smaller and then let it all cook on my griddle!

I buy my deli meat from Publix Supermarket!

I then let the meat cook a little……then add on the mozzarella cheese

I also season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion salt

After the cheese melts on there good you are ready to transfer it to your bread.

Its a quick and easy recipe that needs no extra frills. I put mayonnaise and mustard on my stuff and eat away. It’s the kids favorite meal and it took me all of 10 minutes to cook!
