Not The Momma + Wed Links

January 10, 2018

Y’all remember the dinosaur show that use to come on back in the day…

My kids call me for everything so sometimes I pretend that I am not the momma.

Zaza: Mommy can I have something to drink… (they drink like they are in a desert dying of thirst)

Me: Ask your mother

Zaza: but… are the momma

Me: I am not da momma

Dman: Mom I am hungry

Me: *thinking to myself did I not just buy him a whopper from Burger king …not the jr whopper but a regular sized one about an hour ago*

Dman: Mom did you hear me I am soooo hungry

Me: I am not da momma

I am in my hiding place in the closet with the lights off but my tablet or phone light is on… they stick their hands under the door

Mom are you in there…..Mom you can’t hide from us…….Mom what you doing……Mom come out come out wherever you are….

Then the girl gets fancy and starts calling me mom in different forms. Mother, Mama, Moo Moo, Ma, Mother dear (mother dear what the ….)

Wed Links for the week

I’m doing my Project 365 this year and if you love photography and don’t want to commit to every day here is another project you can do

I made this on New Years Day. Baking more instead of frying

I tried to get on the planner train but I couldn’t

I know a few people who have autistic children. My heart goes out to them

I look at my poop regularly do you? It was green last week but that’s because of all the avocados I eat daily lol

I’ve tried a couple of weight loss programs and none of them worked for me

There was a time I wanted a fur coat. I would never wear it anywhere since I’m an introvert

Like everyone else I tossed a lot of stuff for the New Year. If it wasn’t used all year toss it

I remember the show Dinosaurs and I hated the baby character lol. LOL at your daughter calling you different names and also them looking under the door.

LOL! This is funny. I too get tired of hearing Mommy… I tell them my name is something else, and they just yell that too.

Oh yes that show was aggravating. It’s possible that all I ever saw was that clip. Christopher was out of school for four days with the snow we had. I guess it would have been a whole week if it had snowed on a Sunday. Anyway I was listening to an audiobook and I think hearing a low mom through headphones is soooooo annoying. I told him to wave me down if he sees me with headphones in my ears instead of calling me until I hear him but that’s annoying too.

Lol! I say mama a million times just because I didn’t do it as much as a child. According to my mama, I was an excellent child, so I find time to get on her nerves as an adult!

I used to love that show. My algebra teacher actually looked like the baby LOL My son is only one so I’m not at this stage yet, but I’ll try to prepare myself.

As soon as I read your post title, I knew what you were talking about. I loved that show! How were the pork chops? They look really good.

I used to love that show, I want to yell “Not this Momma” to my kids. My 13 year old isn’t so bad, but that damn 6 year old. Jesus be a muzzle.

I do know what you mean about the thirst thing. My boys are the same way. They’re constantly asking for stuff all day and night. They’ll start off asking for juice then once they see they have reached their limit with that they’ll move on to water.

Dinosaurs was one of my favorite kid shows! Thank you for the planner link love! Maybe just a spiral notebook and a pen can be a quick way for you to plan. 🙂

I love the show dinosaurs. I sometimes try to pretend I’m a voicemail. I tell my kids I’m not here right now and to leave a message at the beep. They laugh at me now. They know it means I need a minute.

I remember Dinosaurs. I also remember calling my mom, Mommy Dearest one day and not understanding why she legit flipped her wig. Then I grew up and learned about the wire hangers. So very interesting. I look forward to your stories so much. They make me happy!

I can only imagine what it’s like to be a mom. I definitely remember that show from when I was a little kid! I also wouldn’t mind a fur coat but I live in Texas and so it’s really not that necessary.
