Nachos for breakfast and dessert

These Nachos will have you covered for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, brunch – you name it. The classic version of nachos is included, which is great for countless options. However, you’ll want to give the savory breakfast option and delectable dessert option a whirl too! Here is how to make nachos 3 different ways.

Nachos 3 different ways

Classic Nachos

 

Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Serves: 4

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 Bag (16 Ounces) Tortilla Chips
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 2 Packets Taco Seasoning
  • 2 Cups Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
  • 1 15-Ounce Can Black Beans, drained
  • 1 Cup Verde Salsa
  • 1 Cup Red Salsa
  • ½ Cup Sliced Black Olives
  • ½ Cup Pickled Jalapenos
  • ¼ Cup Sour Cream
  • ¼ Cup Red Onion, diced

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Evenly lay out your tortilla chips on a greased baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet, brown the hamburger, then drain it to remove the excess grease.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the hamburger and stir well. If it’s a tad dry, add a couple tablespoons of water until it reaches the correct consistency.
  4. Evenly spread the hamburger across the top of the chips.
  5. Top the chips with the black beans, olives, jalapenos, and red onion in whatever order you prefer.
  6. Evenly cover the top of the nachos with the cheese and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove the nachos from the oven and evenly sprinkle the top with both salsas and top it with the sour cream.

 

Breakfast Nachos

 

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Serves: 4

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 12 Ounces Tortilla Chips
  • 12 Ounces Chorizo, browned and crumbled
  • ½ Pound Bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ Pound Ground Breakfast Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 ½ Cups Breakfast Gravy
  • 1 Cup Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 1 Cup Queso Fresco Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lay out tortilla chips on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the chorizo, breakfast sausage, and bacon over the top of the chips. Salt and pepper to your preference.
  3. Evenly coat the nachos with queso fresco and gravy then the shredded cheese.
  4. Lastly, you can either scramble your eggs and add them on when you drop the bacon or you can crack them straight onto the top of the cheese as the final ingredient.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the eggs are cooked to your preference if you went with the eggs on top.

 

Dessert Nachos

 

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 0 Minutes

Serves: 4

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 12 Ounces Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla or Pita Chips
  • 2 Cups Apple or Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream

 

Directions:

 

  1. Lay the chips out on a serving platter in an even manner.
  2. Evenly spread the pie filling of your choosing across the top.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Mix well.
  4. Drizzle the powdered sugar mixture evenly over the top of the pie filling.
  5. Top the nachos with the whipped cream and enjoy!
