I haven’t worn heels for over 8 years. I think I would fall and bust my face up. I know people say get wedges they are better but honestly, I can’t do it. I need functional shoes for my life. Functional use to consist of just sneakers and UGG boots but this fall/winter I stepped it up just a little with some cute boots. As a big girl its hard to find boots for wide feet and my wide calves. To find a boot that don’t cost a whole leg is hard to do but I think I found some great ones for decent prices. Welcome to the family fluffy and brown boo. Yes I name my shoes. Don’t sit there and judge me.
Favorite Boots for Wide Feet
Brown Boo came from Torrid (my favorite place to shop BTW)
He is so cute! He comes in a nice high length and since I’m short it looks like it’s almost coming up to my thigh. It’s okay though because these beauties are so comfortable
I love that it’s not as flat as I normally wear boots but still flat enough for me to run from a bear or something because that’s the only reason I would be running. The back of it is nice and stretchy and I love the buckles on them. I swear these are my new favorite boots. I can also wear fluffy socks with them which is a bonus for me.
My friends Fluffly
Fluffly is soft and versatile. I got this color because it’s an odd color yet it matches a lot of my things in my closet. You ever got something other than brown or black and then realize it works perfectly with your wardrobe….maybe it’s just me. It’s soft yet has a rough tone to it…matches my personality. I got this boot from Torrid also. They no longer have these but I paid about 50 bucks for them.
Since I have wide feet it’s hard for me to shop at just any old place. I have to be very particular where I shop at because not all shoes fit me comfortably. Here are some places that have cute and affordable boots for wide feet:
Torrid of course!
I only shop for boots off season or when they are on sale. I didn’t pay over 70 bucks for either of my shoes. Nine West is pretty decent also when it comes to wide feet but they can get pretty expensive and are out of my budget for now but make sure you check them out.
Tip to use when shopping for boots
- Measure your calf at it’s widest point. Measure both calfs if there is a difference go up an inch
- Where jeans or something similar that you will be wearing with your boots when you go shopping so you can know how it feels in the boot
- Invest in quality boots. I don’t buy cheap boots that fall apart. All of my boots I have had for years and they still look brand new
However you shop for boots make sure you try them on. I am all for online shopping but for shoes I tend to make sure I try them on first or if I know the store like I do Torrid I know what fits and what doesn’t. I don’t have to shop in the store because I have enough of their boots to know what works and what doesn’t.
Where do you buy your boots? Whats your favorite boots for wide feet besides UGG boots?

December 8, 2017 at 1:23 pmWhen I was younger, all I wore was heels. A few months ago I donated most of them to a local charity (a lot of shoes). Now, I look for comfort and I’m loving all of these boots!

December 8, 2017 at 3:41 pmI have wide feet too! (I call mine chicken cutlet shaped) and boots ALWAYS cut into my arch. I need to figure out some comfortable ones that are also CUTE, because the ones that ARE comfortable are ugly as all get out, and I get sad. Thanks for sharing the sites, I’ll go ahead and click over to see if anything catches my eye.

December 8, 2017 at 4:09 pmI am all about fall boots from JC Penney, Torrid and Belk. I stocked up on a few pairs during a recent sale at Belk and got my son’s girlfriend 3 pairs for less than $100. #ShoppingWin Oh and love your boots.

December 9, 2017 at 6:45 amI can almost never find boots I like. In addition to having really wide feet I also have really large feet. They just don’t make most styles I like in my size. It’s sad.

December 9, 2017 at 9:53 pmEven though I love the look, boots are always hard for me because I have one leg that swells a lot (lymphodema). These might work because it looks like they have some give in the back. I’ll have to order a pair and see how they go because it’s a look I absolutely love with dresses and tights. x
