It’s soup time! Soup is the only reason I am here for fall. It’s not the pumpkins, it’s not the colder weather, it’s not the boots, ti’s the soup. I normally do a soup a week when winter hits. It warms me up especially during busy weeknights. I can also have a cop of it the next day and warm it up. Today I want to give you this simple soup recipe that will not only warm your soul but also fill you up just right.
- 1.5 Pounds Ham Steak
- 4 Cans Cannellini Beans
- 1 Yellow Onion
- Salt and Pepper
- Chop ham steak and onion into small portions.
- Place all ingredients into crock pot and place on high for about 4-5 hours.
- Pour water in the crock pot until it’s just below the level of the ingredients.
- Place as much salt and pepper as preferred. My family likes it salty.
- Occasionally stir.
