Easy Seafood Burger

June 17, 2016

With Fathers day coming up this weekend…all hands will be on deck. My hubs loved going on that grill but I was always tired of the same ole same ole burger so last year we did something different we had a seafood fathers day. This year even though he is no longer with us I want to keep that tradition alive so we will be making a seafood burger. I like easy food that’s not hard to do and you can find all the ingredients. This one makes two burgers!

  • 1 Cup Shrimp
  • 1 Filet of Salmon
  • 2 Teaspoons Cajun Seasoning

  1. Place your shrimp, salmon, and Cajun seasoning in a food processor and chop until there are no large chunks.
  2. Make the mixture into patties and place in frying pan.
  3. These do not take long to cook so just brown each side and enjoy!

What will you be cooking this weekend for fathers day?

I would have never thought to mix up all these fish into a patty. I bet my kids would love these since they eat all the seafood they can get their hands on.

I would’ve never thought to do that before! This is awesome. I’m always trying new ways to eat seafood and I never thought to make it into a patty. I’ll definitely have to try this with our leftovers tonight!

Oh you have my mouth watering. I have enjoyed seafood burgers at restaurants, but have never thought about making them in my own kitchen. This recipe looks very achievable. I think we will give this a try this weekend.

Salmon is my favorite fish to bake. I have never made my own salmon burgers though before! I would love to top them with spicy mayo and extra tomatoes! A great idea for a Sunday meal.

What a great twist on the old classic beef hamburger. We’ve had salmon patties before, but I never would have thought to add shrimp into the mix. I know what kind of burger I’ll be grilling next!
