I remember when I first went to college back in the early 2000’s. My mom didn’t have a lot of money to buy me the fab clothes that I wanted. I didn’t know a thing about fashion because I was in uniforms all my life. When I first got to Clark Atlanta University I was intimated by the fashion choices that I saw. I had no idea what was in and what wasn’t in so I stuck to jeans and a t-shirt. Of course you have to decorate your dorm room but as a college kid today….looking good is whats in. So how do broke college kids look good while in college? They go to JCPenney! Let’s join my niece and nephew as they go along to pick out some outfits because college fashion for less with JCPenney is the way to go. They both love the night life and they both want to look good while in class. So…..they have a budget of $100 to spend to buy two outfits……let’s see how they spent their money…….
College Fashion for Less with JCPenney Boys
Boys will be boys! Here is my nephew thinking about what to get and how he can maximize his money at JCPenney.
While he was browsing I was checking out this buy 1 get 1 for 1cent deal….what the hell! Oh I can’t stay over here with them I gotta go see if this is happening in the grown folk section….dueces! I will leave you all to browse and see what outfits he picked out.
Okay I am done checking out things on my end and I do have a cart filled with clothes but it’s not about me today I am here to help them shop. So when I got back over to where they were I see him and his mom picking out this outfit….
This is why we don’t bring moms along and only bring the cool younger aunt….geesus!
I couldn’t stay over there any longer so I went to see what his sister was up too!
College Fashion for Less With JCPenney Girls
The jackets are whats hot this season. Dammit I wish I could wear these jackets again *cries* Okay they have finished their shopping now it’s time for the big reveal of what they purchased!
Bam! This outfit is everything right here. Chile please you can’t tell her nada. A great jacket sets the tone for a great fall outfit!
The jacket was $60 but the pants and shirts were both under $30 bucks so this was a great buy! She can pair this jacket with many various outfits throughout the school year. That way she stays flies no matter what!
This is her everyday go to class outfit. I think she is ready for the fall semester, don’t you?
The reveal of the what her brother got is brought to you by my favorite color…..burgundy! Yes sir!
Here is what I love about this….it’s versatile to where he can take the jacket off and be ready for a presentation with a nice button down. This is an outfit that you can wear two different ways. Just the shirt or with the jacket! This was actually on the rack of the buy one get one for 1cent….that’s a steal because really…..Arizona for 1cent….I love that brand by the way and the deal was awesome. He bought 4 pieces so he only really paid for two which cost him under $75. You know boys don’t have to switch up much so this is a great outfit for him.
So I asked him…..how do you impress the ladies…this one here says nothing and just takes the jacket off and says….I be about my business…that’s how you impress the ladies! Whaaaaaaaaaa
Ok so I am a bit older and I wanted to see how the college kids really lived…(I just wanted to be young again and go partying with their asses) So stay tuned as we reveal the night life of a college student along with some tips that you can pass on to your children about safety at night while in high school or college!
Have you shopped for college fashion for less with JCPenney? What are your favorite picks?

September 3, 2016 at 2:14 amBeen shopping at JC Penney since I was a young kid, I wore bigger sizes so I was always able to find something there that fit me and looked great. I remember buying a grey/pink dress that meant the world to me and a dark blue jean jacket that I’ll never forget. I am loving the Buy 1 Get 1 for 1 cent deal, now that’s what I’m talking about. I like all the photos and outfits in this post, looks like everyone had a fun time shopping.
