Who doesn’t love a good omelet? I usually make various different ones all the time. Sometimes I use sandwich meat in them, onions, mushrooms, etc. I also use whatever I have in my fridge and it always comes out good. What types of omelets do you like to make? Tell me below!

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Fried Chorizo Sausage
  • 2-4 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons Pancake Batter (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  1. Place eggs, salt and pepper, milk, and batter in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Heat pan to medium heat and place butter inside.
  3. Once the butter has melted, pour your egg mixture in the pan and cover.
  4. Wait until the eggs mixture has almost cooked all the way through and give it a flip so the other side can cook for a few seconds.
  5. Place your ingredients in the middle of the omelet and fold one side over. Allow to sit in pan while stove is off for a second. Place on a plate and enjoy!

Note: Use two eggs for a thinner or smaller omelet. We used 4 eggs for the omelet in the photos.

I haven’t made an omelet in too long. I think it’s time to change that and I’ll have to see if I have all of the ingredients to make one before I go shopping this week.

This is a perfect breakfast for me. I like both the omelet and the chorizo and they complement each other.

We make our own chorizo sausage every year and like to use it in omelets with the fresh farm eggs. Always a winner.

I love omelets! A few years ago, a friend taught me the trick to making the perfect omelet. It’s one of the few things I can make well. I mostly just eat cheese in mine.

Delicious! Omelettes are my favorite because I can “customize” it however I want. I usually put in chopped veggies and ham. I will try your recipe and use chorizo instead of ham. Can’t wait to try this.
