Cheers to the color green!

March 17, 2017

Did you know that colors have meaning? Yep it’s one of the reasons I choose blue for my main branding color. Blue means trust ….that is what I want my clients to know about me. They can trust me! The color green means  the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. Green is also traditionally associated with money, finances, banking, ambition, greed, jealousy, and wall street. So let’s take a look at some of the meanings….let’s start with the color of life

The color of life is key to making sure that we live our fullest. If you look outside you know spring is near….spring brings so much color to a drab winter it also means flowers start growing and you can put your green thumb to use.

Green means freshness…..I don’t know about you but the greener my salad the better it is. I actually will sit and pick out the bad lettuce or the brown ones before I eat a salad.

Money the big green machine that we all need. It can lead to a lot of roads if you don’t know how to treat your money. Treat your money right and it will always produce results.

Green use to be my favorite color in school because it represented the end of the school year (well almost lol) I was excited when trees started turning green and grass was starting to turn back to a nice color. It meant that warmer weather was near.

What does green mean to you? Whats your favorite green item?

Today I have a quick recipe for you that you can make anytime with my favorite fruit…Kiwi

I call it my Green pineapple drink you can totally mix in your favorite alcoholic beverage to this or some sprite or even ginger ale to give it some umph

I used about 6 kiwis and blended them in my blender with a few scoops of sugar

Then I squeezed about 20 fresh lemon juice in (I used a pitcher to make a big serving of it)

Added about a half cup of pineapple juice and wallah

I added sprite to mine to make it fizzle and the kids loved it!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I’ve always looked the fact that colors have different/deeper meaning to them! To me green definitely means life/the earth/growth, etc.

I love earth tones – blues, browns, and greens. My dad’s favorite color is green because he said it symbolizes renewal. I think he just likes it because he is a doctor and he is always wearing green scrubs. LOL. Seriously though, I think the pastel shade of green is really refreshing to the eyes.

I love the color green as well but have’t thought about all the different reasons why. You really thought the color green through and how it affects your life.

I’m not really a big fan of the color green. It’s always been my Mom’s favorite color, she even bought a green car many years back.

I also like green since it’s the color of nature and it’s just refreshing. The green pineapple drink also looks so tasty with or without alcohol.

I love to see a beautiful green lawn. It just reminds me of Spring and Easter egg hunts. Great childhood memories. I need to try your recipe, it sounds very refreshing.

I’ve always been a fan of green. It looks and feels fresh and healthy. It reminds me of big salads for dinner and the first freshly cut grass in the spring

Green has been my favorite color for as long as I can remember. So, it’s hard to pick one favorite item that’s green because I automatically am drawn to green things, haha.

This sounds like a great drink and is a perfect drink for St. Patrick’s day along with Spring in my opinion. I am going to have to try this and spike it a bit for my house warming party. Thanks for sharing this awesome drink idea.
